ELISE is part of the EU Horizon 2020 ICT-48 portfolio and originated from ELLIS, a network of artificial intelligence research hubs and associated Fellows. Based on the highest level research, it spreads its knowledge and methods in academia, industry and society.
We are happy to announce that we have been selected as one of the best 16 European start-ups, and awarded a grant in the 1st ELISE Open Call, to further tune and develop DeepMammo, our AI-based cloud solution for Early Breast cancer detection. In the ELISE program we will focus on developing a new technology for Automatic Reporting based on Explainable AI and Multimodal Deep Neural Networks (DNN). Our roadmap includes clinical data collection, data annotation and dataset creation, tuning of a new DNN architecture, improvements of the AI models, API & library implementation, and final system validation with our clinical partners.
